Willamette Motor Club of Oregon Invites all WMC members along with members from the PDXMini Club, BMW Club, EESCC, NWAA, ACCO, Cascade Sports Car Club, and Willamette MG Club. Other racing and SCCA clubs across Oregon are also welcome to attend. This was event #3 and held at Mckay high school in salem oregon. I had never been to one of these events and so I did not bring my normal camera gear (Canon G2) . Instead I was only armed with my small 12 mpg Canon snap camera AS1100 . On 8-28-09 Pink Martini and Oregons 234th Army Band finished their tribute to Oregons sesquicentennial (150th) Birthday celebration at the Oregon State Fair. The filming is crude from the nosebleed section (next time I'll use a tri-pod), but the music was great! There is NO other band in the Pacific Theatre that has a Combat Infantry Badge with a Bronze Star. The Band is led by Unit Commander Ashley Alexander. The "Oregon! Oregon!" performance will be repeated in Bend, Jacksonville and Portland Oregon.
